Dear Mr. Ahern:
The reason why I am sending
you this letter is to inform you what a wonderful job the
Benefit Fund office is doing. My husband Raymond has
been a member of Local 30 for about 3 to 4 years.
Before being a member at Local 30, my husband was a member
of Local 456, for about 6 years. In those 6 years I
hated calling the Benefit Funds office because the staff was
rude and unfriendly. At times when I had questions
regarding the insurance benefits they made me feel degraded
like I should have known all the procedures of the benefits
and humiliated, the way they had spoken to me. At
times I had complained about the matter but it seemed that
nothing was done.
In regards to Local 30,
Benefit Funds, I was extremely surprised of the warmth,
kind, caring, understanding and especially patient
staff/people they all are. The Benefit Fund office
doesn't see us as numbers, they see us as members, as
"human beings" with feelings. In respect to
their hard work I have to say that the Local 30 has staffed
extremely "professional caring individuals", that
know the meaning of treating their members with kindness and
respect.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Glenda L. Kruse
