| Hey,
shop class tonight. This is one of the new features of the
Local 30 Apprentice Training Program. Students now enjoy
hands on practice in the trade, which after the school’s
four-year program, they will be mentally, as well as
physically, prepared to become a skilled worker in the
Engineering trade.
As part of the outside
looking into the students’ world, students at Local 30
seem excited to attend field trips and work in shop classes.
The hands-on practice seems to improve their comprehension
of what they are learning through their bookwork and study.
